So I have a busy week ahead of me... I have a family fun day on fridayfor the 2/7 families for a couple hours then we are going to Las Vegas for the NFR (national finals rodeo.) We are meetig my parents there. Eli and I are soooo excited. And of course its all Tori can think about cuz Grandma invited her to come stay until we get there next week. So i have been packing and getting rid of things that i dont need/want anymore. i guess thats one good thing about moving so much i dont think i have to much crap. i have to go thru it pretty often. well I am so happy that Christmas is so soon but i also hope this month never ends... Eli is deploying early Jan. So he will be gone for 6 months atleast. He is going on a MEU.(Marine Expedetionary Unit)its a ship) They are going to Japan and other asian ports. and are ready if they get called in for something else. so anyhow we are happy that he has leave so we can do lots together before he goes. hopefully we will get to see most family before he goes.

a great week!!

We had the Marine Corps Ball last friday it was in Las Vegas!! We had an awesome time! My mom and dad came and we stayed in their timeshare. Tori has been asking to get her ears pierced since Chan got hers for her 5th birthday so now she is officially a big girl. Tori loved getting to hangout friday night with my parents and Eli and I loved getting to go out alone...we walked all around and got a gondola ride, and we rode the roller coaster. hahaa.On saturday my parents, Eli, Tori and I all went out to the strip walked around the boutiques and went to a 4d movie. Then on sunday we went to Circus Circus and Tori LOVED IT!!!! here are some pics from last weekend!

Today is Victoria Grace's 5th birthday. I just want her to know how much i love her! and that she makes me so happy and proud of her. She is so smart and loves life. She loves her family. And she loves to talk. I am so blessed because she chose me for her mom. And it makes my heart so happy that I have her. You have grown and learned so much.... and you are my bestfriend.... We love you Tori!

We had such a great time. Tori loved Trick or treating! we just went on base it was a lot of fun. hope ya like the pics. by the way Tori was a Vampire Princess and Eli got bit by her so he is also a vampire... ahh so cute. haha

October 2009

So this is what we have been doing...

Eli also had his ankle surgery.... some pics... sorry they are graphic. The first two pics are from thursday the day of the surgery. The 3rd pic is from friday.

Fall..... is pretty cold in the desert..

So the desert is definatly not my friend anymore. It was 105 last week now the low is like 55 wow... hhaaha. We were is San Diego again yesterday and we finally have Eli's surgery scheduled!! He goes in Oct 29. The surgery isnt suppose to take very long its an out patient surgery so we just have to go back for a follow up the 7 of Nov. We were both getting very impatient because we have gone down there 3 times and it felt like the run around. Oh well its going to be taken care of now. Tori has been playing soccer and she really likes it. She isnt very aggressive though. She also really likes the preschool stuff we have been doing. Eli has been working a lot so thats been not so much fun we counted last week he worked over 110 hours... i doubt that we will see him anymore often though before deployment they always have lots of training and late nights. He is soo excited to get back to full duty. I have some pics from the past month or so that I havent posted about. so here is a few!
oh ya i cant figure out how to change the song... hahaha but i kinda like it this is the first time ive heard it.

I will never forget!

I remember it... exactly like it was yesterday. I was 15. I was getting ready for school. my mom came in my room and said to come watch the tv (my dad was on his way to work and had called, the raido said the 1 twin tower had been hit). So we watched and the 2nd plane hit. I cried. Not fully understanding. Just knowing that it was horrible and that the lives of everyone in the US were changed. They way we live would never quite be the same. I found this video a couple days ago and I tried to tell Tori was happened 8 years ago. She watched it with me. She was concerned with why people would do that to others kids moms and dads. I told her they are evil. She knows thats why Eli has to go far away. To keep the bad guys from coming back....

Hancock Reunion..mostly pics and some rambling

So i have decided that i sould tie a camera around my neck so i will take pics of people next time.... most of the pics are out in the forest and not of people.... im a bone head i know... well atleast Eli and I got some good ones.






If you look close on this one you can see a Crane we think it was a whopping crane?(SP)Anyhow i was really excited to see it. Eli was tryin to get really close and it flew away so i think it looks really cool tho.


So Eli and i went on a date on Saturday night... probably our 2nd ever without our lil girl going with us...(: Well we drove all around the mountains. and when we saw this i just went pic crazy... hope ya'll like them.

Tori was soooo tired she crashed out... poor lil prissy....




We had a great time and it was good seeing everyone. I think our nieces and nephews will rememeber us this year atleast....
